Raj has spent more than a decade helping people overcome the challenges of addiction with care, respect, and evidence-based treatment. He is proud to hold lifetime certification from the American Board of Addiction Medicine, recognizing his long-standing commitment to this field. Over the years, he has started outpatient programs and worked in diverse clinical settings to better serve patients at every stage of recovery. He is also a volunteer faculty at the University of Colorado, mentoring future clinicians in compassionate, patient-centered care.
Raised in Mississippi, Raj trained in Louisiana, India, Colorado, Atlanta, and New York before returning to Colorado in 2015—a place he and his family are grateful to call home. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and their two dogs. They enjoy the outdoors, spending time in the mountains in both the summer and winter. His patients know him not only for his medical expertise, but also for his understanding that recovery is about building healthier, stronger lives for both individuals and their families.
